PERFECT!
My husband and I had our wedding here last year and we could not have asked for a better venue. The team at Bishop’s Ridge made our event so easy and they were able to achieve our wedding dreams for both a reception and ceremony. A beautiful, tucked away retreat, Bishop’s Ridge is truly a hidden gem with enough space and lodging to bring any wedding to the next level. The venue was affordable and had enough cabins and rooms to accommodate our whole family and wedding party. We were also grateful to work with their on-site catering service who was so affordable and delicious. I am happy to report many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to! Highly Recommend!
Rustic Mountainview Elegance
My husband Eric and I were married here last September (cue Earth, Wind & Fire), and we could not have been happier with the location, venue, and staff. Executive Director Christopher Jewell was present and supportive from scheduling through ceremony, always available to address our needs. Catering was simple to arrange through Christopher’s recommendations—we worked with a company that partners closely with Bishop’s Ridge, which made coordination seamless. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces offered plenty of room, even when we had to move the ceremony indoors due to an unexpected rainstorm (which rewarded us with rainbows!). Lodging was another highlight. We were able to host family and friends on site at very reasonable rates, making for cozy mornings and joy-filled evenings in good company. A short trail leads downhill from the venue—perfect for a moment of quiet reflection or prayer before the festivities. The kids had a great time too, thanks to the available outdoor games. The portable sound system was easy to use and delivered excellent amplification. We can’t recommend this venue enough. A heartfelt thank-you to Christopher, whose dedication and care made our day unforgettable (and who, frankly, deserves more time off than he allows himself!).
Bishop’s Ridge – Quintessentially New Mexican!
We had a great experience working with Chris & the team for our wedding! This is a beautiful property/venue and the fact that it is also a summer camp gives it a fun vibe. You are getting a great deal for the price, especially in Santa Fe. Beyond tables & chairs, the venue is essentially a blank canvas, so be prepared to work with other vendors (party rental for linens, florists, wedding planner, etc.) if you want more than what you see when you tour. This is not a criticism, just expectation management if you are interested in this space! Chris & his team were extremely helpful and gracious in preparing the space for our big day and were a huge help the day of. Our guests loved the property, the ability to camp or stay overnight in one of the cabins, the games, and the unique vibe that this place (and greater Santa Fe) offered. We were so happy with our choice of venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more casual venue for their wedding or other event!
