6 Expert Tips for Your New Mexico Wedding Photo Booth
1. Timing: Open During Cocktail Hour and After Dinner
Intentional timing makes a real difference in how many guests actually use your photo booth. Opening during cocktail hour means grandparents, little ones, and guests who tend to slip out early get their moment before dinner even starts. Reopening after the first dance gives your crowd a fun alternative to the dance floor, especially for those who love a great photo but aren’t quite ready to bust a move.
2. Prints: The Physical Photo Strip Is Still Pure Magic
Digital files are convenient, but they live in camera rolls. A physical photo strip? That ends up on the fridge. Ask me how I know.
Every single time I hand a guest their printed photo strip, I watch their face light up. It’s novel to have a print! And it becomes a keepsake for them to take home and put on their fridge for years to come.
3. Guest Book: You Deserve a Copy of Every Photo, Too
Here’s something couples often forget: you deserve a copy of every photo, too. Have your vendor print a second strip and tuck it into a guest book alongside handwritten notes from your guests. By the time the night wraps up, you’ll have a perfect way to remember the night.

FAQ: Little Moon Photo Booth in New Mexico
Where does Little Moon travel for weddings?
Anywhere in New Mexico. Little Moon is based in Albuquerque, and a travel fee applies for venues more than 50 miles away. Just ask, and we’ll work with your budget.
What does Little Moon need to set up at my venue?
Three things: a standard electrical outlet (we bring our own extension cords), a level 15×15-foot area accessible by vehicle, and a parking spot for our truck during the event. That’s it!
What if my venue doesn’t have reliable power?
No problem. Let us know ahead of time and we’ll bring our silent generator and party on.
How big is the Little Moon photo camper?
She’s 13 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 8 feet tall.
Can the photo camper be set up indoors?
Yes, if there’s a way to drive a vehicle inside we can absolutely set it up indoors. Once set up, we’ll unhitch the vehicle and park it outside.
When should the photo booth be open?
It really depends on the design of your reception. We think cocktail hour is a great time to have it open because it gives friends and family something fun to do. It’s also great to have it open after the first dance so people can have options.
When does Little Moon arrive to set up?
We set up one hour before your start time. If your venue or timeline requires an earlier arrival, just let us know when you book.
How many people fit inside the booth?
Up to 6 comfortably, more if you’re very good friends. 😄
Is Little Moon accessible for guests with mobility needs?
Absolutely. For guests who cannot enter the camper, we’ll temporarily set the booth up outside using the camper as a backdrop. Every guest deserves to be in the photos.
What is the deposit and payment policy?
We require a $350 deposit at contract signing to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event. Please note that deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
What happens if it rains?
New Mexico weather keeps us on our toes. If rain is in the forecast, we bring a 10×10-foot white rain shelter to keep things dry outside the camper.
Can you provide proof of insurance for my venue?
Of course. Little Moon is fully insured and licensed, and we’re happy to provide documentation directly to your venue coordinator.
