While we handle every logistical detail, we never lose sight of your personalized vision. We ensure the mountain setting remains the stunning backdrop, while your unique love story takes center stage through elevated, intentional design
What do your couples usually spend on their weddings?
On average our clients spend from $45,000-$85,000 and frequently up to $100,000 for Telluride or larger weddings.
How many weddings a year do you take?
To ensure we are able to give all of our couples the utmost attention, we limit the number of couples a year we work with from 18-20.
What's your planning style?
As all couples are different, I tailor my planning style to best accommodate their lives and budget! I know when certain milestones need to be hit and will ensure all vendors are booked in a timely manner, but so as not to induce decision fatigue or try and have too many deposits due at once, we will customize it to you as a couple!

Booking Brette with Wild Poppy Weddings and Events for our wedding was the best decision we made!! We were looking for help planning an out-of-state wedding and Brette was the perfect fit! We had originally reached out to a few planners/coordinators in the area and she was the most professional and easy to talk to. We felt that she was very knowledgeable about Ouray, always available to talk to, and kept us on track during the planning process. She made the month before the wedding and day of go so smooth, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I would 1000% recommend hiring Brette for your wedding because we couldn’t have done it without her!
We just recently had a July wedding at Gold Mountain Ranch with Brette as our day-of-coordinator. She truly helped everything run so smoothly. Every question I asked was answered in a timely manner, and I didn’t think the monthly check-ins were needed when we first booked her services but they were so helpful! The payments being spread out were also great. If it made sense for us to do full wedding planning I know that she would have made the day even more beautiful. I dropped the ball on getting some of my decor organized well to provide easy set up but everything was beautiful and perfect!
